The main villain in the Disney animated film "Meet the Robinsons" (2007) is Bowler Hat Guy, also known as Michael "Goob" Yagoobian. He is a former orphan at the same orphanage as the protagonist, Lewis. Goob holds a deep grudge against Lewis for preventing him from winning a baseball game when they were both children.
As an adult, Goob is bitter and resentful, blaming Lewis for ruining his life. He becomes the pawn of the true villain, a time-traveling Bowler Hat-wearing man named Doris, who convinces him to steal Lewis' memory-scanning machine in order to change the past and prevent Lewis from ever succeeding.
Bowler Hat Guy is initially portrayed as bumbling and comical, but it is revealed later in the film that he is actually a sympathetic character who has been manipulated by Doris. In the end, he is redeemed when he helps Lewis defeat Doris and restore the timeline.
